Propelled by shanties and songs of the sea, North Carolina native Chase Brock steers the latest work for his New York-based dance company directly toward the Port City. This foot stomping evening of strapping and evocative dance conjures a crew of restless mariners hurling themselves through salt and spray toward first light.
The company makes its fifth visit to Wilmington – a true home away from home – and a much anticipated return to the iconic Thalian Hall, following its popular 2013 engagement.
The Chase Brock Experience’s Come Home is supported with a Works & Process technical residency at Catskill Mountain Foundation.
Come Home was created and rehearsed, in part, in a residency at Modern Accord Depot in Accord, NY.
