Thalian Hall and TD Bank U.S. are proud to introduce Pay-What-You-Wish tickets!

This new initiative sponsored by TD allows increased arts access to world-class performances, cinema, and immersive experiences by allowing theatre-goers to “Pay What Your Wish” based on their spending comfort. 

  • What are Pay-What-You-Wish tickets?

    Pay-What-You-Wish (PWYW) tickets are show tickets to select performances at Thalian Hall where you pay “what you wish” for the ticket and TD pays for the rest. 


    This program is designed to create accessibility to the arts at Thalian Hall for people in our community for whom the commercial price of a show ticket is particularly challenging or prohibitive. 


    Designed for low income, seniors, students, or early career community members, the PWYW program sponsored by TD opens doors to world class performance.

    Note: Programs by our community partners or outside presenters are not eligible for PWYW tickets at this time.  


  • How can I get Pay-What-You-Wish tickets?

    Advance tickets for eligible Pay-What-You-Wish shows are available through the Box Office and can be purchased via phone or in-person. 


    Fill out an online request form on the event's page (linked below), or call the Box Office at 910-632-2285 to request to purchase Pay-What-You-Wish tickets for an eligible event. 



    Ticket quantities are limited and are expected to sell out quickly.


    Community groups may purchase PWYW group tickets via the Box Office  

    Pay-What-You-Wish tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or resold. 


    Supply of PWYW tickets is limited to the value of the TD sponsorship.


We trust our community to self-select if PWYW tickets are right for you.


At Thalian Hall, we always strive to find a balance in our ticket pricing that creates access for audiences, pays performers for their talent and experience, and refills our operational coffers.
