Iphigenia in Splott by Gary Owens tells the story of young Effie, a girl with very few resources, money or friends. It follows her journey from a down-on-her-luck woman teetering on the brink of catastrophe to a socially conscious young woman who finally realizes that her power is greatest when she works with those around her. This powerful one-woman piece is traveling from Raleigh and being presented by Burning Coal Theatre.
