When a single, pragmatic forty-something recruits the eclectic guy she didn’t go to prom with back in high school to be her D-I-Y sperm donor, but learns that he’s autistic and navigating some significant mental health issues, her carefully planned hopes are turned upside down in one crazy weekend in Toledo, Ohio. Ryan Cunningham's debut features an outstanding performance by autistic writer and actor Matt Foss, who co-wrote the script with co-star Cora Vander Broek. With a bit of charming innocence, Lone Wolves manages to break new ground on many social norms, from single parenthood to autism and intimacy.
