Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, in association with the Film Partnership of North Carolina are proud to announce the advance premiere of The Exorcism starring Russell Crowe on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 7:30PM at the Main Stage of Thalian Hall. A pre-screening red carpet, and post-film Q&A with the director/co-writer, Joshua John Miller and co-writer M.A. Fortin will also take place. The Wilmington-shot production will be released globally beginning in June exclusively in U.S. theatres nationwide starting on June 21.

Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe stars as Anthony Miller, a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter, Lee (Ryan Simpkins), wonders if he is slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play. The cast is rounded out with several notable supporting actors, including Sam Worthington (Avatar: The Way of Water), Chloe Bailey (Praise This), Adam Goldberg (The Equalizer) and David Hyde Pierce (Frasier).
