Wilmington's theatre celebrates 165 years of operation! Come join us for free tours of one of the oldest theatres in the United States, full of history and hidden gems that you can only find right here in Wilmington.

Each tour is led by our volunteer docents and will give you a behind-the-scenes view and in-depth discussion of your theatre's rich history, its many renovations and 165 years of performers. Then, you'll be transported back to 1858 to experience the power of the Thunder Roll, the only 19th century special effects system in United States, with the power to bring weather inside in the time before modern special effects.
