Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. promotes cultural enlightenment and cultivates and sustains a love of the performing arts in our community. The organization also seeks to preserve the historic significance of this theatre as a symbol of Wilmington's cultural heritage. Support for Thalian Hall is vital to the ongoing operation of this national treasure.

Your support enables us to:

  • Offer educational programs such as Tar Heels Go Walking and the Pied Piper Theatre, which reach over 12,000 children each year.
  • Present outstanding national and international artists through the Thalian Hall Main Attractions Series.
  • Present some of the finest alternative films from all around the world through the Cinematique film series.
  • Provide three quality venues for rent by a broad spectrum of local performing arts groups, which serve over 80,000 people in the greater Wilmington area.
  • Preserve, maintain, and improve one of America's oldest and most beautiful 19th Century theatres.
