The majority of the Chestnut Street parking lot at Thalian Hall is currently closed for renovations on the County Administration Building.  There are 268 surface parking spaces within a one block radius and within sight of Thalian Hall. Patrons will still be able to drop off and pick up people in the driveway in front of the entrance but parking in this area will be curtailed.  Thalian Hall and our patrons are fortunate to have a multitude of good parking options within one block of Thalian Hall.  Please look over the following guide to parking for Thalian Hall events.

ON STREET PARKING:
A great deal of on street parking is available within one block of Thalian Hall.  All parking on 3rd street and east of 3rd Street (east is moving away from the river) becomes free after 5pm Monday-Friday and is free all day Saturday and Sunday.   All metered parking west of 3rd Street (towards the river) becomes free after 6:30pm Monday-Saturday and is free all day on Sunday.  Please see the map to the right of all on street parking in the vicinity of Thalian Hall.

CITY of WILMINGTON PARKING DECK:
The City of Wilmington owns a parking deck which holds 400 cars directly across the street from the City Hall/Thalian Hall building.  You may enter from either 3rd Street or 2nd Street on the block directly between Princess and Chestnut Streets.  There is security on site from 9pm until 7am.  The first hour is free and there is a $1.00 charge per hour for each additional hour.  The only exit is out of the 2nd Street entrance.  An attendant is on duty to accept payment Thursday-Sunday until 2am.  Automated payments are accepted on Monday-Wednesday after 6pm and can be made by credit card or cash.

HANDICAPPED PARKING:
Some handicapped parking will be available in the Chestnut Street lot.  Patrons who have obtained a handicap parking tag may park in any space resevered as handicapped or metered space regardless of time of day and not recieve a ticket.
