Thalian Hall People

Thalian Hall is a building, it is not an organization. Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. is an organization made up of the people who manage the building. Without the staff, administration, Board of Trustees, volunteers, and patrons – Thalian Hall, the building would not be the vital part of the community that it is today.

When you walk in Thalian Hall you may only see the box office staff and the ushers– but did you know that there are administrative offices located on the third floor and a backstage filled with a technical staff dressed in all black? Many unseen faces work at Thalian Hall to facilitate fundraising, marketing, communications, rental contracts, campaigns, programming, ticket sales, ballroom attendance, and technical maintenance of the performance spaces as well as the entire facility. Once a month the THCPA Board of Trustees, whose membership includes 25 community representatives, meet to evaluate the operation of Thalian Hall and set policy. You will often see many of the Trustees attending performances and participating in our fundraising events.

You may see the THCPA volunteers buzzing around during a performance – taking tickets, working the concessions booth, giving tours – you name it! Our wonderful volunteers are the angels of our organization. Click here to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Thalian Hall.

Last but not least, the lifeblood of our organization is the people who fill our seats! You, the patron make this place alive with energy and laughter as you show patronage to the Thalian Hall Main Attractions Series and all of the events presented by our many user groups.
