Education: Private Tours

Important note!

Private Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday by appointment. Tours normally include the main lobby, historic 1858 lobby, historic 1858 auditorium "Thalian Hall," historic gallery level, Ballroom/City Council Chambers, Studio Theatre and backstage areas. Some areas may not be accessible due to production or business meetings.

Tours Rates:

Individual Adults 1-9 persons: $10.00 per person
Individual Seniors 1-9 persons $8.00 per person
Children of Individuals $4.00 per person

Group Discounts:
10-20 persons @ $8.00 21-30 persons @ $6.00 31-60 persons @ $5.00

Student Rates:
1-14 persons @ $4.00 $15+ persons @ $3.00
There is no charge for the Tour Leader, Bus Drivers or Chaperones of Student Groups, but these persons do not count toward your group discount total.

If an individual or group would prefer for the tour to have a specific focus, for example architecture, theatre appreciation, historic performers, technical theatre, African-American history in Thalian Hall, etc., please indicate this when requesting an appointment.
