Audience ServicesAccessible Restrooms All theatres have wheelchair accessible restrooms available and many offer baby changing stations. Accessible Seating: In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (THCPA) is dedicated to providing persons with disabilities the necessary measures to allow for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Information regarding particular needs of individual patrons is important to us. Please contact the Facilities Manager directly at 632-2281. Assisted Listening Devices: A number of portable listening devices that amplify the sound from the Main Stage stage are available free of charge from any usher for all events, an ID will be held while the equipment is in your possession. Cameras: The use of cameras or other types of recording equipment is strictly prohibited. Cellular Phones and Pagers: The ringing of cellular phones or pagers can be highly disruptive during a performance. These devices should be turned off or turned to vibrate mode while at the theatre. If necessary, a cellular phone or pager can be monitored by the Event Manager. Children: Everyone entering the theatre must have a ticket. For selected events a lap pass may be purchased for a discount at our box office. For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, children who are disruptive to other guests will be asked to leave the seating area. Education: THCPA's education department strives to engage audiences of all ages through a variety of educational and outreach programs. For more information, click here. First Aid: First aid supplies are available at all theatres. Ask any usher for assistance. Lobbies: Lobbies are open to the public approximately one hour prior to showtime. Theatre seating traditionally begins 30 minutes prior to showtime. Lost and Found: Please notify any usher immediately upon discovery of lost or found articles. After a performance, you may call the Box Office at (910)632-2285. Membership: Thalian Hall Members experience special benefits and have access to exclusive events while also supporting the education, programming and the preservation of the theatres. Where a play or other performance calls for smoking on stage, the producing company must secure a fire permit and notice of its occurrence is given to the audience prior to the performance.
