The Thalian Hall ArchivesThalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc (THCPA) maintains an extensive onsite archive of artifacts, research, articles, and theatre ephemera spanning the entire history of the site, from the construction of the original Innes Academy school and theatre through the present City Hall and Thalian Hall building. The archive also contains a large library of theatre and film books, plays and Broadway playbills, magazines and recorded and sheet music. The archive is overseen by THCPA Executive Director Tony Rivenbark, a noted theatre historian. The archives are not open to the public, however specific research questions may be addressed to the Executive Director. For a complete list of available research and articles by Mr. Rivenbark visit the Tony Rivenbark Literary Archive. Volunteers are always needed to assist in adding to the ever-growing online archive at this website. Click here for more information, and to contact us about being a Thalian Hall Volunteer. |
