Give Em’ Hell, Harry!

For the first time in history, a United States President, Harry Truman, will be portrayed on stage by his own grandson. Clifton Truman Daniel, a Wilmington native and grandson of the 33rd president, will bring audiences into the world of his grandfather with this one man show by Simon Gallu. Clifton Daniel is a frequent speaker and fundraiser and the author of the 1995 book, Growing Up With My Grandfather: Memories of Harry S. Truman, and Dear Harry, Love Bess: Bess Truman’s Letters to Harry Truman, 1919-1843, published in 2011

With Love, Marilyn takes you backstage to the icon’s struggle with image, personal truth, and explores everything from Hollywood fame to the loves of her life. Sullivan, the co-producer, co-writer, and star of the show, traveled the country in five national Broadway tours including Hairspray, Shrek and Grease.

Bumper Jacksons

Cirque Mechanics: Pedal Punk

Pied Piper Theatre: Aladdin

This year’s Pied Piper production, Aladdin, is an upbeat musical comedy written by Steve Cooper that is loosely based on one of the Tales of the Arabian Nights. The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba

Since its inception in 1960, the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba has been instrumental in developing and introducing Cuban and Latin American music to the international classical music community, in addition to covering a vast symphonic and chamber repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary music.
